BSG Aries cargo hauler

BSG background ship: Aries cargo hauler, kitbashed from various kits and subjects.

BSG Eastern Alliance cruiser MKII

Studio scale modeling is frustrated excitement. Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica (BSG) started this obession for me. It is an exersice in frustration, identifying kit parts is a long and tedious road. But very rewarding once the proper kit is found
some examples that I am working on are seen below.

BSG Eastern alliance Cruiser MKII, which is made from leftovers from the kits used to make the real EAC.

BSG Cylon mine: This one is very hard. There are only 2 hi-res photos available. Iding kits is a nightmare. I have had to make some concessions. The panels are held on with what I believe to be brass rod and strip, silver soldered together. This part of the build will be fun.

Ma.k Fledermaus review

Ma.K Fledermaus. Another kit added to my stash; kit contents. Another one I'll get to this year.

Ma.K Falke

Ma.K Falke; by Hasegawa. I really like this kit. I hope to start it soon.

WWII SciFi future tech scout flyer

Field scout:

This model is from a genre I call future WW2 sci tech. Imagin WW2 didn't end, but new technology was brought online to gain an edge. But both the allies and axis have it. Fusion and plasma powered vehicles and weapons. To save time the vehicles abd weapons are modifies to use this new power.

This is a 1 man Scout flyer: I mainly used tamiya flak 36/37 88mm parts, 1/20 Formular 1 engine parts, an old ME 262 engine froma lindberg kit and the seat and control from a hasegawa focke wulfe 190.

Ma.K Fliegende Ratte

My scale addiction has led me to the genre of SF3D or as it is now known, Ma.K Maschinen Kreiger. A world far flung into the future of post apocalypic mech machines.
This is my first kitbash in the subject, the Fliegende Ratte, flying rat (spy drone).

Bashed from several old rare kits, and a ping pong ball. As usual with this kind of bash there is lots of putty and sanding.

I had some time to bash more today. This was enjoyable.
I've been working on this all week. It is just about done, a little more seam work then painting will commence.

Kits I used are below:

Painting with glazes to give depth and texture.
