Ma.K Lunadiver stingray build: derived from Kow Yokoyama concept sketch. 

   All donor parts are virtually the same as the ones Sensei Yokoyama used to build the original model. I am using a few kits from my own stash to put a personal touch on this build. 

 At this point Most of the body work is down, its must weigh 4 pounds now. All putty work is done, I spent a lovely day on the patio, knocking the high spots down with a rasp. Then I switched to sandpaper and smoothed everything out. 

I really wanted to break up the shape of the Smit Rotterdam hulls. I added front fenders from a 1/12 porsch 935, now smoothed in with putty.

The tricky part will be mounting this thing with the large scale hughes 500 on the bottom. Stay tuned.
